Rediscover The Healing Powers Of Sisterhood.

History Of Women Circles.

Before the Industrial Revolution took place, women used to bleed collectively with the New Moon and Ovulate on the Full Moon. Menstrual Blood was considered Sacred, and women used to gather in huts in order to rest and retreat during their bleed. This was a time of connecting with oneself, deep surrender and gaining spiritual insights. A retreat from the outside world in order to go deep within. Afterwards women came back to their tribes, sharing the wisdom they gathered during their sacred time of menstruation.

Throughout the years, we moved further and further away from traditional farming, and as a collective our connection to Earth and Moon has become weakened over time. As a result, women nowadays bleed and ovulate during different times of the Moon Cycle. We no longer gather during this sacred time of the month, and many of us have lost sight of how healing and important feeling that sense of Sisterhood can be.

As Women, we are creatures of the Moon. Ever changing, growing. In waves and seasons, from darkness to light. As cyclical beings, we need time to rest and retreat in order to give birth and create. In order for us to thrive, we need to restore our connection with the Feminine. Even though the tradition of menstrual huts didn’t survive the test of time, the tradition of Women Circles is one that has been carried on over thousands of years.

Why Women Circles?

There is something magical that happens when women gather; we become soft. We exhale, we feel safe. We open. As women, we are each others mirrors, and have the ability to understand each other without words. If you, yourself are a Woman, you certainly know what I mean. You must have held a Sister and felt her grief. You must have held your Mother’s hand and felt her joy. You must have shared moments of deep intimacy, simply through hearing another woman’s story. Because you felt it. Because you, too, carry it in your bones.

Women Circles are a way to connect with each other, ourselves and the Feminine more deeply. An invitation for bravery and vulnerability - the kind that strengthens our ability to open, and move through the world from a place of authenticity and wholeness. By coming together with other women, we get to honour and celebrate the many different layers of Womanhood, and witness the beauty in every single one of them.

By hosting these Circles it’s my intention to awaken your inner Radiance. For you to witness another women’s light as a reflection of your own. To remember we are all sisters, walking each other home.

From my womb to yours,

Caro

“The circles of women around us weave invisible nets of love that carry us when we’re weak, and sing with us when we are strong.”

What Others Are Saying.

“Caro is a beautiful soul with the wonderful ability to create a safe space for people from all walks of life.

Her softness and vulnerability allows others to see they can do it too. I have never been so relaxed after a meditation session and never felt more seen than after a women’s circle led by Caro.

She pours her heart into everything she does, with so much intention and joy. I can’t wait to see what she does next. “

- Amber, Women Circles

“Magic happens when Caro brings women together to openly share and heal. I've attended several of her women circles and every one of them has felt like a long, warm hug. Caro is such as soft spaceholder. She has a way of making everyone feel loved and held. A full body yes-experience, every time!”

“Caro is able to create a soft and safe place that allows women to come together and find comfort in each other’s company. You connect deeply with strangers in a way that feels familiar. The guided meditations are beautifully unique each time, and afterwards your head feels incredibly clear and peaceful. Caro’s circles are a space to feel connected to yourself and other women. It’s a safe space to share your thoughts and feelings, even though you don’t have to.”

- Ruth, Women Circles

“The women circle of Caro was a feeling of coming home. Of connection and safety. Of carrying and being carried. A feeling I didn’t know I had missed so deeply. Thank you, Caro, for creating a magical place, for holding a heart warming circle and for your loving support. The wonderful location, the sun through the clouds and the wind through the trees were a beautiful, extra bonus. I will continue to cherish this circle for a long time to come.”
